Interesting, I actually had the opposite experience. Warm saltwater rinses seemed to help me heal faster. But everyone's different, I suppose... Glad you found something that worked for you though—it's always a relief when you finally hit on the right thing.

Interesting perspective—I think you're spot on about everyone responding differently. Warm saltwater rinses have been shown to gently cleanse and promote healing, probably why they worked well for you. But healing can definitely vary depending on the biopsy site, personal sensitivities, or even how the procedure was done. Glad you both found methods that helped—it can be so frustrating dealing with mouth discomfort while trying to heal. Hope your recovery continues smoothly!

Couldn't agree more—I've had several biopsies and each healed differently. Curious if anyone found certain foods helpful or harmful during recovery... personally, citrus was a definite no-go for me.

I remember after my biopsy, I thought smoothies would be the perfect solution—soft, easy to swallow, healthy... right? But nope, learned the hard way that berries with tiny seeds are sneaky little irritants. Yogurt and mashed potatoes were my go-tos instead. Bland, yes, but soothing and gentle. Everyone's different though, so maybe it's just trial and error till you find your comfort foods.

Ugh, I totally feel you on the smoothie betrayal. 😂 I made the exact same mistake—thought I'd be all healthy and clever, then spent the next hour regretting every raspberry seed. Yogurt was a lifesaver for me too, but honestly, I got bored of mashed potatoes pretty fast. One thing that worked surprisingly well was scrambled eggs... soft, easy to eat, and protein-packed. Also, oatmeal (without nuts or seeds obviously) was gentle enough and felt filling without irritating anything.

And yeah, you're spot on about trial and error. Everyone's mouth heals differently, so it's all about figuring out your own comfort zone. Hang in there—soon enough you'll be back to eating whatever you want without worrying about hidden seed attacks. 😉
