Scrambled eggs and avocado is legit one of my go-to breakfasts anyway, biopsy or not, haha. Did anyone else find smoothies helpful? I practically lived off banana-peanut butter smoothies for a few days after my braces went on—super filling and easy on the mouth. Also, did your dentist mention anything about avoiding spicy stuff? Mine warned me it could irritate healing gums... learned that lesson the hard way with some accidental hot sauce.

Smoothies were a lifesaver for me too, especially during those first few days when chewing felt impossible. I mostly stuck to berry and yogurt ones—refreshing and soothing at the same time. About spicy stuff, my dentist gave me the same heads-up. Even mildly spicy salsa had me regretting it big-time...definitely not worth the risk while healing. I'd say stick to bland or neutral flavors for a bit, your gums will thank you later.
Smoothies definitely helped me too, but did you find the cold ever bothered your gums? I had to let mine sit a bit before drinking. And yeah, spicy stuff...learned that one the hard way. Bland is boring but worth it for sure.

Actually, room-temp soups worked better for me—less irritation overall. Did you try lukewarm broth or pureed veggie soups instead? Easier on the gums and budget-friendly too... smoothies add up fast.

That's a great suggestion. Lukewarm soups are usually gentler on sensitive gums since extreme temperatures—both hot and cold—can trigger discomfort or inflammation during healing. I've also had patients mention that pureed avocado or mashed sweet potato worked nicely because they're soft, nutritious, and soothing. Did anyone else find certain textures particularly helpful or problematic during recovery?
