Scrambled eggs sound okay, but oatmeal always felt too sticky for my kid after her biopsy...it stuck everywhere and was a bit uncomfortable. Applesauce or yogurt worked better—cool, smooth, and easy to swallow. Just our experience though.
Yeah, oatmeal can def get messy...my kiddo ended up wearing more than she ate, lol. Yogurt was our go-to as well—smooth sailing from there. Hang in there, it gets easier!
Yogurt's definitely easier texture-wise, but I found it could sting a bit after my biopsy because of the acidity. Maybe that's just me being overly sensitive though... I ended up leaning more toward mashed avocado or cooled scrambled eggs—soft enough to eat comfortably without the acidity. Everyone heals differently, so it's worth experimenting gently to see what feels best for you. Hope your recovery goes smoothly!

Interesting you mention yogurt stinging—I thought I was the only one who noticed that. Did you try different types? Greek yogurt was a no-go for me (ouch), but weirdly enough, plain regular yogurt seemed less harsh. Maybe it's the brand or something? Anyway, avocado sounds like a good call. Did you season it at all, or just keep it plain? I remember trying scrambled eggs too, but even cooled down they felt kinda gritty to me...maybe I just suck at cooking eggs though, lol.
Also curious if anyone tried smoothies—do they sting as much as yogurt does? I avoided them because of the fruit acids, but maybe banana-based ones would be gentler...?

I kept avocado pretty plain—just a tiny bit of salt helped without irritation. Smoothies were actually great for me, especially banana and almond milk ones...super gentle. Weirdly enough, oatmeal was my lifesaver; cooled down and slightly runny, it went down easy without any stinging. Did anyone else find warm vs cold food made a big difference comfort-wise?
