Totally agree about consistency being key. I've had both cordless and countertop flossers over the years, and honestly, I didn't notice a huge difference in results—just convenience. When I switched to a cordless one, I found myself flossing way more often because it was easier to grab and use quickly. Technique definitely matters too, though...my dentist once showed me how angling the tip differently made a noticeable difference in gum health. Glad your gums are feeling better, braces can be tough!

I've been using a countertop one for years, mostly because I like the bigger water tank (less refilling, haha). But now that you mention convenience, maybe that's why I sometimes skip flossing when I'm tired...might give cordless a shot next time mine breaks down.

Haha, same here with the countertop tank—love that I can floss without refilling halfway through. But honestly, ever tried traveling with one of those beasts? Cordless might be a lifesaver for trips...or just lazy nights on the couch.

Totally agree about the countertop tank being a beast to travel with—I tried packing mine once and it was a disaster waiting to happen. Cordless is definitely the way to go for trips, or even just lounging around watching Netflix. But honestly, at home, nothing beats the countertop's power and consistency. I've noticed my gums feel healthier since switching from cordless to countertop for daily use. Maybe it's worth having both around...one for home and one for on-the-go?

I've been thinking about getting both too, but honestly, countertop ones look kinda intimidating for younger kids. Anyone have experience with their kids actually using a countertop flosser without making a huge mess...? I'm picturing water everywhere.
