Good point about the extra charger—I hadn't considered battery life as a potential issue. I've been leaning toward cordless purely for space-saving reasons, but now I'm curious: is the countertop version significantly more powerful or effective in your experience? If the difference is noticeable, it might justify the extra counter space (and cost). Always appreciate hearing practical insights like yours before making a purchase...

I had the exact same dilemma a few months back. Initially, I went cordless because my bathroom counter is already cluttered enough, and I figured portability would be handy. But honestly, after a couple of weeks, I noticed the battery life wasn't great—had to recharge way more often than I expected, and the water pressure felt a bit weak, especially compared to the countertop model my dentist uses.

Eventually, I switched to a countertop version, and the difference was pretty noticeable. The pressure settings are stronger and more consistent, which makes my gums feel cleaner and healthier overall. Yeah, it does take up more space, but for me, the trade-off was worth it. If you're someone who values thoroughness and effectiveness (and it sounds like you might be), I'd say countertop is probably the better bet. Just my two cents from personal experience... hope it helps!

I was wondering about this too, but honestly, countertop models seem kinda pricey... Have you found any budget-friendly countertop options that still have decent pressure? I'm still on the fence because of cost mostly.

Yeah, totally get you on the price thing... countertop models can be steep. I've tried a cheaper one before, and honestly, the pressure wasn't great—felt kinda weak and didn't really do the job. Ended up returning it. Cordless ones seem more affordable, but then battery life becomes an issue. Still haven't found that sweet spot between cost and performance, so I'm holding off for now.

Yeah, same here... I've been reading tons of reviews and honestly, it's making me more anxious about picking the wrong one. Maybe sticking to traditional floss is safer until something clearly stands out?
