I totally get the countertop appeal, but honestly, the bulkiness and price tag made me hesitate. I went cordless mostly because it was cheaper and seemed less intimidating at first. Still remember the first time I tried it—felt like I was wrestling a tiny garden hose in my bathroom... water everywhere, mirror soaked, total chaos. Took me a week to figure out the right angle. It's decent now, but sometimes I wonder if I'm missing out on that stronger pressure you're talking about. Maybe someday I'll upgrade... if my anxiety about flooding the bathroom subsides, lol.

Haha, your garden hose analogy is spot-on. I went cordless too, mostly because countertop models looked like they'd dominate my tiny bathroom counter. But honestly, after a few months, the battery life started driving me nuts—always dying mid-floss. Does yours hold up okay battery-wise? I'm kinda tempted by the countertop's stronger pressure too, but not sure if it's worth sacrificing space and dealing with cords everywhere...

Ugh, been there... nothing worse than that sputtering sound halfway through. Mine's held up okay-ish battery-wise, but I totally get your frustration. Countertop models do pack a punch pressure-wise, and if you're really craving that deep clean feeling, it might be worth the countertop clutter. Maybe you could stash it under the sink between uses? Either way, hang in there—your gums will thank you later!

I switched from cordless to countertop a while back, and honestly, the battery drama was half the reason.

"always dying mid-floss"
—yep, exactly my experience. Countertop's bulkier, sure, but at least I'm not racing against the clock anymore...worth it for me.

Totally relatable, the battery thing drove me nuts too. I stuck with cordless though, mostly because countertop ones seemed pricier...but yeah, the mid-floss panic is real. Glad you found something that works better!
