I feel this so much—my bathroom looks like a splash zone every time I use my countertop one. Honestly, I started with the cordless because it was cheaper and way less hassle. Tried the big tank version at my brother’s, and yeah, it blasted me into next week. Didn’t notice a huge difference at my next cleaning, though. My dentist said it’s more about consistency than horsepower. Still, if someone invents a drip-free model, I’m all in...

I’ve had both kinds over the years, and I’ll admit, the countertop one gave my tile floor a good rinse more than once. The cordless is easier to handle, but I do wonder if the smaller tank means I’m not as thorough. Has anyone noticed issues with battery life as these things age? Mine’s already not holding a charge like it used to...

I’ve been using cordless since getting braces, and honestly, the battery life does drop off after a year or so. It’s a pain when you’re halfway through and it just dies. I do miss the bigger tank on the countertop ones, but those things are so bulky... and yeah, I’ve splashed water all over the bathroom more than once. Still, the cordless is less hassle with all the wires and brackets I’m dealing with.

That battery drop-off is real... mine started dying mid-floss after about a year too, and it’s not like you can just swap in AAs. The countertop ones do feel like overkill though, unless you’ve got the counter space. I guess I’m team cordless for now, even if the water tank’s tiny.

I keep worrying about making a mess with a countertop one, honestly. My bathroom’s tiny and I’d probably trip over the cord or spill water everywhere. Is it actually easy to refill the cordless ones without splashing? I get nervous about water going everywhere and messing up my sink area...
