is it really worth fixing teeth problems when kids are still little?

I hear you, dental stuff can be tough on kids (and us grandparents worrying about them). But from my own experience, dealing with teeth issues later in life is no picnic either...wish I'd had some of these options back then, discomfort and all.

Yeah, I totally get this. I remember being a kid and absolutely dreading dentist visitsβ€”my mom practically had to drag me there. But honestly, looking back now, I'm grateful she did. Had a friend who skipped braces as a kid because his parents thought it wasn't worth the hassle, and now he's dealing with jaw alignment issues as an adult. Makes me wonder, how do you balance the short-term discomfort for kids with the long-term benefits?
