Ugh, melted ice cream soup is exactly how I'd describe it too—except mine tasted more like lukewarm protein powder sadness. ISO100 was decent, but honestly, after day 3 I was desperate for something with actual flavor. Here's what saved me:

1. Grab your blender and toss in some vanilla protein powder (ISO100 works great).
2. Add frozen mango chunks and a splash of coconut milk (trust me on this).
3. Blend until it's thick enough to eat with a spoon—think smoothie bowl consistency.
4. Top with a tiny drizzle of honey if you're feeling fancy.

Totally get the smoothie bowl love, but honestly, we found thicker wasn't always better. My daughter got frustrated with anything too thick after her surgery—it was tough to swallow comfortably at first. We ended up going for thinner soups and broths initially, then gradually moved to thicker textures as she healed. Every kid's different though...just something to keep in mind if anyone else hits that same snag.

We had a similar experience with my son after his wisdom teeth came out. He was all about smoothies beforehand, but afterward, anything thicker than broth made him uncomfortable at first. Took us a few days to ease into thicker stuff... patience definitely helped.
