Haha, lukewarm scrambled eggs were my unexpected lifesaver after my wisdom teeth extraction. I stocked up on ice cream too, thinking it'd be a treat, but it ended up feeling way too cold and uncomfortable. Honestly, room-temp mashed potatoes and mac 'n cheese became my comfort foods. And yeah, binge-watching guilt-free is the silver lining—caught up on two whole seasons of a show I'd been putting off forever. You've got this!

Totally relate to the ice cream thing... I thought I'd be living off milkshakes, but nope, way too cold and pricey after a while. Lukewarm soups were my budget-friendly hero—easy to prep, gentle on the wallet, and comforting. Hang in there, you're doing great.

Totally agree about soups... I stocked up on instant mashed potatoes too. Easy to swallow, cheap, and weirdly comforting. You've got this, it'll be over before you know it.

Soups and mashed potatoes are definitely solid choices. When I had my wisdom teeth out, I found smoothies helpful too—especially if you're worried about nutrition. You can blend in protein powder or yogurt to keep your energy up. Also, don't underestimate ice packs; they really help manage swelling and discomfort. It's normal to feel anxious, but preparation makes a huge difference... you've planned well, so you'll likely have a smoother recovery than you expect.

Smoothies are great, but if you're budget-conscious, protein powder can get pricey. I found peanut butter or cottage cheese blended into smoothies gave me affordable protein. Also, homemade ice packs (frozen peas wrapped in a towel) work wonders and save money too...
