I just found out something kinda random but interesting—apparently pineapple juice can help reduce swelling after oral surgery. My cousin swears by it, says it made a huge difference when she had her wisdom teeth out. I mean, who knew pineapple juice had secret healing powers, right? I'm curious if anyone else has heard of this or knows other weird little tips like that...

I've heard about the pineapple juice thing too, but honestly, I'm a bit skeptical. Isn't pineapple juice pretty acidic? I'd worry it might irritate the surgical site or something. When I had my wisdom teeth out, my dentist recommended cold packs and saltwater rinses, and those seemed to help a lot. Another weird tip I got was sleeping with your head elevated—like propped up on extra pillows—to reduce swelling overnight. It felt awkward at first, but I think it actually made a difference. Has anyone else tried that? I'm always cautious about these home remedies because sometimes they sound great but end up causing more trouble than they're worth...
