I've found that sensitivity after whitening isn't always inevitable. My dentist recommended spacing out the sessions a bit more and using fluoride treatments afterward—personally, I didn't notice much sensitivity at all, even with ice cream. Maybe it's down to individual tolerance levels...?

Yeah, I think you're onto something there. Honestly, I've been super nervous about booking my first whitening session because everyone keeps talking about sensitivity horror stories. But your experience gives me some hope—maybe spacing sessions and fluoride treatments really do help? I guess everyone's teeth react differently, but hearing your positive outcome makes me feel a bit less anxious about it. Fingers crossed mine goes as smoothly as yours did...

You're right, everyone's teeth really do react differently. I've seen plenty of people breeze through whitening sessions with zero issues, especially when spacing treatments and using fluoride like you mentioned. Sounds like you're already on the right track... you'll probably do great!

My daughter had hers whitened professionally last year, and honestly, I was pretty nervous about it too. She has sensitive teeth, so we took extra precautions—like spacing out the sessions and using a sensitivity toothpaste beforehand. It turned out better than expected, just some mild sensitivity for a couple of days. Sounds like you're already doing the right things to prepare, so hopefully your experience will be smooth too... Hang in there, it's normal to feel anxious about stuff like this.

I went the professional route once, but honestly found it pricey for what I got. Ended up trying those drugstore whitening strips later—worked surprisingly well with less sensitivity. Everyone's different though, hope your results turn out great...
