Mine took a good week or two to fully calm down, honestly. My daughter had hers done around the same time, and she bounced back way quicker than me—go figure, right? That toothpaste was a lifesaver though, definitely helped ease the sensitivity. I also found drinking room-temp water instead of cold made a huge difference. Hang in there, it'll get better soon enough...just gotta ride it out a bit.

Yeah, sensitivity after whitening is no joke. Mine lasted around a week, maybe slightly less, but man, it felt way longer at the time. Funny you mention room-temp water—I noticed hot drinks like coffee were brutal for me those first few days. Ended up switching to lukewarm tea instead. Also, chewing sugar-free gum helped distract from the sensitivity a bit. Hang tight, once you're past this rough patch, you'll probably love the results...I definitely did.

Interesting you mention sugar-free gum—I found it helpful too, since it boosts saliva production, which naturally helps ease sensitivity. Did your dentist recommend any specific toothpaste or gels afterward? Mine suggested a fluoride gel, and it made a noticeable difference...

My dentist recommended a fluoride toothpaste too, but honestly, I didn't notice much difference until I switched to a sensitive teeth formula. Maybe it's just me being weird, haha... Did anyone else find one type worked better than another?

Nah, you're definitely not weird—I had a similar experience! Fluoride toothpaste didn't really help me either, but switching to a sensitive formula made a noticeable difference. Honestly, I think everyone's teeth react differently. I'm actually thinking about getting my teeth whitened professionally soon, but I'm kinda nervous it'll make my sensitivity worse... Has anyone here had whitening done with sensitive teeth? Curious how it went for you.
