Yeah, watermelon gum's definitely easier on the teeth. Last time I whitened, I grabbed some generic fluoride rinse too—worked surprisingly well. Also found sipping room-temp water helped ease sensitivity between treatments...cold drinks were brutal for a few days.

Glad to hear the fluoride rinse helped you! I'm booked for my first whitening next week and honestly kinda nervous about the sensitivity. Definitely gonna stock up on watermelon gum now...and maybe invest in a cozy room-temp water bottle, lol. Fingers crossed it goes smoothly.

I totally get the nerves...had mine whitened a couple months ago and honestly, the sensitivity wasn't fun. Definitely smart to keep room-temp water handy—cold drinks were a no-go for me for a few days. But hey, everyone's different, maybe you'll breeze right through it!

Yeah, sensitivity can be hit or miss. My daughter had hers done recently, and surprisingly she barely felt anything afterward—meanwhile I was wincing just watching her! Guess some people luck out more than others. She did stick to room-temp drinks though, just in case...seems like that's the universal wisdom. Good luck with yours; hope you're one of the lucky ones who sails through it smoothly.

That's definitely been my experience as well. When I had my teeth whitened professionally, the sensitivity afterward was quite intense—I remember even breathing in cool air felt uncomfortable for a couple of days. I stuck strictly to room-temperature drinks and avoided anything acidic or too sweet, just to be cautious. Glad your daughter had an easier time; hopefully your experience will align more with hers than mine...
