I've had decent luck with whitening strips myself, but honestly, the sensitivity afterward was pretty uncomfortable. I ended up switching to a whitening toothpaste instead, which seems gentler. Curious though—has anyone tried those LED whitening kits you see online? They look kinda gimmicky, but I've seen mixed reviews and wonder if they're worth a shot...

I gave one of those LED kits a shot last year, and honestly, it felt more like marketing hype than anything else. Didn't notice much difference compared to regular strips, and the sensitivity was still there... I'd stick with your toothpaste approach, seems gentler overall.

I get what you're saying about the sensitivity issue—those kits can definitely be hit or miss. But honestly, I had a pretty decent experience with one of those LED whitening sets. Picked one up on a whim during a sale, and after about two weeks, I actually noticed my teeth looking brighter. Nothing dramatic like you'd see in ads (obviously), but enough that friends commented on it.

Sensitivity-wise, I was pleasantly surprised. Usually, whitening strips leave me wincing at cold drinks, but this kit didn't seem to trigger that as much. Maybe it's just luck or the brand I chose... who knows? But I'd say they're worth trying at least once if you're curious. Everyone's teeth react differently, so you might have better luck than you think.

Glad it worked out for you! But honestly, aren't those LED kits kind of hit-or-miss too? My daughter tried one recently, and while her teeth did look a bit brighter, she still complained about sensitivity afterward. Maybe it's just her teeth being extra sensitive or something... Have you tried any other methods, like charcoal toothpaste or professional whitening at the dentist? Curious if anyone's had better luck with those.

I've tried pretty much everything under the sun, including charcoal toothpaste (which, btw, made my sink look like a crime scene 😂). Honestly, those LED kits are kinda unpredictable—worked okayish for me, but yeah, sensitivity was a real pain afterward. Professional whitening at the dentist was definitely more effective, though my wallet cried a little. If sensitivity's an issue, maybe try spacing out the treatments or using a sensitivity toothpaste beforehand? Worked decently for me.
