I finally decided to splurge a bit and got my teeth whitened professionally at the dentist yesterday. The results look pretty good, but um...my teeth feel kinda sensitive now? Like drinking cold water is suddenly a mini adventure, lol. Dentist said it's normal and should go away soon, but I'm curious if anyone else had this happen and how long it lasted for you.

Yeah, same here. Mine stayed sensitive for about 3-4 days after whitening. Did your dentist recommend any special toothpaste? Mine suggested one for sensitive teeth, and it seemed to help a bit...but maybe that was just me imagining things.

Mine felt sensitive for almost a full week after whitening, even with the special toothpaste. Honestly, I'm convinced regular toothpaste would've been just as goodβ€”felt like I paid extra for fancy packaging, lol. But hey, placebo effect counts for something, right?
