I wish there was an easier fix for receding gums... feels like no matter what I do, it’s never enough.
Honestly, I get that frustration. I’ve been through the same cycle—switching between water flossers, string floss, even those little interdental brushes. For me, nothing really made a dent until I started seeing a periodontist. They explained that once gums recede, there’s no real “DIY” fix to bring them back—just ways to slow it down. I still use both types of flossing (even though it’s tedious), but the real game-changer was getting my brushing technique checked. Turns out I was brushing way too hard and making things worse. If you haven’t already, maybe ask your dentist to watch you brush? Sounds silly but it helped me catch some bad habits.
