Retainer glued in or popping one in and out?

I gotta say, I actually prefer the pop-in, pop-out kind, even though it means nagging my kid to remember it every night. Cleaning is just so much easier - quick rinse, brush, done. The glued ones felt like a permanent obstacle course for us. Maybe less stress about losing it, but the fiddly cleaning made me nuts... and I swear my kid's gums were mad at me for months. Guess both have their headaches, but removable wins for our sanity.
