Had a wisdom tooth extraction yesterday and they gave me sedation for it. Procedure itself was a breeze, barely remember anything, but today I'm still feeling kinda out of it. Like, not pain exactly, just sluggish and foggy-headed. Doc mentioned I'd be tired afterward but didn't expect it to linger into the next day... anyone else had sedation and felt sorta spaced out longer than expected? Wondering if it's just me being sensitive or something.

Totally normal, at least from my experience. After my wisdom tooth removal, I felt like a zombie for almost two days—binged Netflix but barely remember what I watched, lol. Hang in there, it'll pass soon enough.

Feeling groggy afterward is pretty common, but two full days seems kinda long... did you have sedation or just local anesthesia? Usually sedation can linger longer. If you're still feeling foggy tomorrow, maybe check in with your dentist to be safe.

Two days does seem a bit long, but sedation can vary a lot depending on the meds they used and your own metabolism. Last time I had sedation for an extraction, I felt off for almost three days—just couldn't shake that fuzzy-headed feeling. Did your dentist mention anything about hydration or diet afterward? I've noticed staying hydrated and eating something nutritious (even if it's just soup or smoothies) helps clear things up faster... maybe worth considering?
