Had some dental work done yesterday and they gave me sedation meds to help with anxiety. Procedure itself was a breeze, barely remember anything, but man... afterwards I felt like a zombie for hours. Even today I'm still kinda foggy and tired. Is this typical? Curious if anyone else had similar experiences or if maybe I'm just super sensitive to the meds or something.

Yeah, I've had sedation a couple times for dental stuff, and your experience sounds pretty familiar. Last year I had my wisdom teeth out, and they gave me sedation meds because I was super anxious. The procedure itself was easy—I barely remember anything—but afterward, I felt like I was moving underwater for the rest of the day. Even the next morning, I still felt kinda slow and foggy-headed. I asked my dentist about it later, and she said it's pretty common, especially if you're sensitive to medications or don't take them often. Apparently, it can take a while for your body to fully clear everything out.

Did you eat or drink much afterward? I noticed that drinking lots of water and having a decent meal helped me shake off that groggy feeling faster. But yeah, sounds pretty normal to me... some people just react more strongly than others.
