Got an oral surgery coming up next week, and I'm kinda torn about sedation options. Last time I went with laughing gas and honestly, didn't love it...felt a bit loopy but still pretty anxious, you know? Thinking about IV sedation this time but not sure how intense it is or if it's worth the extra hassle. Curious what other people prefer—quick poll below:

- Laughing gas (nitrous oxide)
- IV sedation (twilight sleep)
- Fully awake, just numb me up
- Whatever the doc recommends, idc

Feel free to share your experiences or thoughts below, I'm all ears.

IV sedation all the way for me. Had laughing gas once and felt like I was stuck halfway between anxious and tipsy—not a fan. IV sedation was way smoother, woke up feeling like I'd just blinked and it was over. Only downside is needing someone to drive you home after...you got a ride lined up already?
