I feel you on the savory cravings... I went through something similar after my veneers. Avocado was a lifesaver for me too, but I also found hummus pretty helpful—smooth enough to eat without pain and savory enough to break up the sweetness overload. Just be careful with anything acidic (like lemon juice), it made my teeth extra sensitive at first. Hope your recovery goes smoothly!

Totally agree on the acidity point—it's often overlooked. Acidic foods can temporarily soften enamel, making teeth more prone to sensitivity, especially after cosmetic procedures like veneers. Another tip that helped me was rinsing gently with lukewarm water after meals to neutralize acids without causing discomfort. Also, scrambled eggs were a great savory option—soft texture, protein-rich, and easy on sensitive teeth. Hope these suggestions help speed up your recovery a bit...

Yeah, lukewarm water definitely helps. I found room-temp herbal tea (like chamomile) soothing too. Weirdly enough, yogurt was my go-to snack—soft, cooling, and seemed to ease sensitivity a bit. Worth a shot maybe?

Yogurt's a good shout actually—cheap and cheerful, my kinda remedy lol. I once had a lip wax disaster (don't ask), and cold aloe gel from the fridge was my lifesaver. Super soothing, didn't break the bank, and bonus points: made me smell like a tropical vacation. Might help you too if yogurt gets boring...

Couldn't agree more with aloe gel—it's gentle enough even for sensitive skin. Another useful trick I've found after ortho adjustments is chamomile tea bags (cooled, of course)... surprisingly calming and inexpensive too. Worth a try if you're ever in a pinch.
