"Felt like forever before we saw any improvement. You're right though, patience really does helpβ€”hang in there, it'll get better eventually."

Can totally relate to that feeling... I remember when I first got my braces off, I was so excited for a fresh start and decided to whiten my teeth at homeβ€”big mistake. My teeth ended up super sensitive, and honestly, they looked kind of patchy for weeks. At first, I panicked and tried all sorts of quick fixes, but nothing really worked. Eventually, I realized the best thing was just to step back, give it some time, and let things settle down naturally. It took a solid month or two before everything balanced out again. Patience really is key, even if it's tough in the moment. Hang in thereβ€”these things usually have a way of sorting themselves out with a little time and care.

Totally get what you're saying about patience. I had veneers done a while back, and at first, they felt weirdly bulky and unnatural. Took weeks before they felt like "my teeth" again...but eventually, things settled nicely. Time really does smooth things out.

I feel you on the patience thing, honestly. When I had my crowns done, I was convinced I'd made a massive mistake at first. They felt so foreign and uncomfortable, and I was constantly worried they'd never feel normal again. Took me a good month or so before I stopped noticing them all the time. Now they're fine, but man...those first few weeks were rough. Glad things settled for you tooβ€”it really does get better with time.

Yeah, same here. When I got my dentures, it felt like I had a mouthful of plastic marbles for weeks...thought I'd never get used to them. Eventually, though, your brain just adjusts. Hang in thereβ€”it does get easier.

Yeah, totally relate to that feeling. Took me ages to stop obsessing over mine too...kept thinking everyone noticed something was off. Still catch myself checking mirrors a bit too often, but it's slowly getting better. Guess patience really is key here.
