I had veneers done a couple months ago myself, and honestly, the sensitivity was my biggest worry too. I'd read way too many horror stories online (big mistake, haha), but it turned out fine. Sensitive toothpaste definitely helped, and my dentist recommended avoiding ice-cold drinks at first...which I mostly listened to. Now I'm finally smiling without hiding behind my hand—feels pretty great after years of being self-conscious in every pic. Glad your daughter had a similar outcome!

Glad to hear sensitivity wasn't too bad for you. I've been thinking about veneers myself, but honestly I'm still pretty nervous. My teeth have always been sensitive to cold—even biting into ice cream makes me cringe. Did yours feel more sensitive than usual after the procedure, or was it about the same as before? I'm just worried I'll end up regretting it if things get worse...

Totally get where you're coming from, my teeth are exactly the same way. When I got veneers, I did notice a bit more sensitivity for the first week or two, especially with cold drinks. But honestly, it settled down pretty quickly and now it's basically back to my normal level of sensitivity. My dentist recommended a toothpaste specifically for sensitive teeth, which really helped. Might be worth asking your dentist about something similar if you decide to go ahead...

I can relate to the sensitivity issue—mine have always been pretty sensitive too, especially with cold stuff. I've been considering veneers myself, but honestly, the thought of increased sensitivity even temporarily makes me a bit hesitant. It's reassuring to hear yours settled down after a couple weeks though. Did your dentist mention if that's typical for most people, or does it vary a lot? Might have to look into that toothpaste you mentioned as well...sounds promising.

Yeah, sensitivity can be kinda unpredictable. When I got my braces off, my teeth freaked out over cold stuff for weeks—ice cream was torture, lol. But it eventually eased up, especially after switching toothpastes. Might be worth giving that toothpaste a shot...
