Might give it a shot next time I'm desperate for a quick fix.

Activated charcoal is definitely messyβ€”I tried it once before a job interview and ended up scrubbing black splatters off my sink for days. Honestly, didn't notice much difference either... I'd stick with baking soda occasionally, despite the salty torture.

Activated charcoal sounds like a nightmare, honestly... but baking soda isn't exactly gentle either, right? Have you tried oil pulling with coconut oil? I was skeptical at first (and yeah, swishing oil around your mouth for 15 minutes feels weird), but it actually made my teeth feel smoother and look brighter after just a couple of tries. Maybe it's placebo, who knows... but at least it's not messy or salty. Also, have you considered whitening strips overnight? They're pretty mild these days and less hassle than scrubbing black stains off your sink before an interview. Just curious if anyone else found something gentler that actually works overnight without the drama.
