I've been dealing with this annoying jaw pain for weeks now, and it's really starting to get on my nerves. It's mostly on one side, right near the joint, and sometimes it clicks or pops when I chew. I've read a bit online about it being TMJ disorder or something similar, but I'm not sure yet. Anyway, before I go running off to the dentist or doctor (ugh), does anyone have any good home remedies or things they've tried that actually helped?
I've tried warm compresses and ibuprofen, which helps a little but doesn't really fix anything long-term. Also tried some jaw exercises from YouTube but honestly not sure if I'm even doing them right, you know? I'm open to pretty much anything at this point—diet changes, stretches, sleep positions, whatever. Just hoping someone here has dealt with something similar and found something that made a difference.
Any ideas or suggestions would be super appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Totally get that—some of those vids can be confusing. Have you tried gently massaging the muscles around your jaw and temples? Helped me relax the tension when mine acted up. Hang in there!
Those massages can definitely ease tension, especially if stress is a factor. Another thing worth checking—do you notice yourself clenching your jaw during the day or waking up with soreness? Sometimes habits we're unaware of can really ramp up discomfort.
