For ages I thought my jaw clicking and headaches were just stress, but turns out it’s TMJ. Dentist gave me a hard acrylic night splint—felt weird at first but I guess I’m getting used to it. Some days it seems to help, other days not so much. I also tried muscle relaxers but honestly they just made me feel groggy (and still woke up sore, ugh).

Physical therapy was suggested but I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Has anyone here found PT actually helps, or is it just more appointments and bills? Or maybe there’s some magic combo I’m missing? Curious if anyone else tried these and what actually worked for you.
