I hear you on the dentist instructions sounding intense—they told me not to even rinse for 24 hours, which felt weird. After my last extraction, I was back at work (desk job) the next day, but honestly, I avoided anything physical for almost a week. In my experience, being a little cautious is smart, but you don’t need to treat yourself like you’re made of glass. If you feel okay and there’s no crazy pain or swelling, you’re probably fine to ease back into normal stuff sooner than you think.

Totally agree with this. I remember after my last extraction, I was convinced if I sneezed too hard, my mouth would just fall apart... Turns out, the human body’s tougher than we think. As long as you’re not hitting the gym or eating popcorn right away, you’re probably good. Just listen to your face—if it’s not yelling at you, you’re on track.

I totally get that fear—I'm in the middle of my first recovery now and every weird twinge makes me nervous. But reading this helps. It’s wild how much our brains worry, but my mouth’s been handling it better than I expected. Guess we’re a bit sturdier than we think...

I remember after my wisdom tooth extraction, I was convinced every ache meant something had gone wrong. Ended up calling the office twice just to be sure I wasn’t messing up the healing. Turns out, most of those weird sensations were just part of the process. I was back to work (desk job) on day three, but honestly, I took it easy with anything strenuous for about a week. Surprised me how quickly things settled down—our bodies really do bounce back better than we expect sometimes.

Funny, my kid just had a baby tooth pulled last month and I was way more nervous than she was. She bounced back so fast—was eating soft foods and watching cartoons the same afternoon. I hovered for days, checking every little complaint, but honestly, she seemed fine by day two. Kids really do recover quick, but I totally get worrying about every ache. It’s hard not to overthink it as a parent.
