I had something pretty similar happen after my wisdom teeth came out. My skin went totally haywire—dry patches, redness, even some weird sensitivity that I'd never had before. At first, I thought it was just stress or maybe a reaction to the pain meds, but honestly, I think it's just your body dealing with the trauma of extraction. I tried a bunch of fancy serums and creams too, but they mostly just irritated things more. Eventually, I simplified everything down to a basic moisturizer and drank tons of water. Took a couple weeks, but things settled down on their own.

Honestly, I think sometimes we underestimate how interconnected everything in our bodies is. Dental procedures can definitely throw things off balance temporarily. Just give yourself some time, keep things gentle and simple, and it'll probably sort itself out soon enough. Hang in there...it gets better.

Yeah, dental procedures can definitely mess with your skin. I've seen this happen quite a bit, actually. When I had my own wisdom teeth out, my skin went through a weird phase too—random breakouts and sensitivity that made zero sense at the time. Honestly, simplifying your skincare routine is probably the best move. Your body's already dealing with enough, so less is more right now. Give it some time, stay hydrated, and things usually calm down on their own...hang in there.

Totally agree with simplifying the skincare routine—your skin's probably just freaking out from all the stress and inflammation. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled, my face decided it was the perfect time to relive my teenage acne years (thanks, body 🙄). But honestly, hydration and patience were key. One thing I noticed though, was that the antibiotics they gave me seemed to make things worse before they got better. Anyone else notice antibiotics messing with their skin after dental work? Curious if it's just me or if there's something to that...

My daughter had a similar issue after her tooth extraction. Her skin was pretty clear before, but after the antibiotics kicked in, she started breaking out like crazy. I was honestly worried something was wrong, but our dentist said antibiotics can mess with gut bacteria and trigger skin issues. We added probiotics and kept things gentle skincare-wise, and it slowly improved. So yeah, antibiotics definitely seem to play a role... at least from what we've experienced.
