Mashed avocado sounds decent, but honestly, the texture was a bit too mushy for me. I ended up going for scrambled eggs—soft enough to manage and felt more like a real meal. Worth a try if you're getting bored of avocado...

Scrambled eggs are definitely a solid choice, but I actually found avocado easier to handle after my extraction. Maybe it's just me, but eggs sometimes felt a bit too chewy or required more effort than I was comfortable with at first. Have you tried blending the avocado into a smoothie instead? I know it sounds weird, but mixing it with banana, yogurt, and a bit of honey made it creamy without that overly mushy texture. Plus, it's pretty budget-friendly if you're careful about buying avocados on sale or in bulk. Honestly, after days of mashed potatoes and soups, anything different felt like a gourmet meal... Hope you're healing up okay—it's surprising how much you miss crunchy foods when they're off-limits!

You know, I've been hesitant about avocados because they're usually pricey around here, but your smoothie idea sounds pretty doable. Do you find that the banana covers up the avocado taste enough? I'm a bit picky about flavors, especially when I'm already anxious about irritating the extraction site. Also, how long do you think the smoothie stays fresh if I make it in bulk? I prefer prepping meals ahead to save money, but I'm worried it'll turn brown or weird after a day or two in the fridge...

Honestly, I'm with you on the eggs being tricky. Tried scrambled eggs once post-extraction and ended up stressing about chewing too much. Smoothies and mashed potatoes have been my go-to, but I'm definitely ready to branch out a bit—just cautiously.

Banana definitely masks the avocado pretty well, especially if you toss in a bit of honey or cinnamon. But yeah, smoothies can get weird after a day—mine turned kinda grayish once...still tasted fine, just looked questionable, lol.

Totally relate to the gray smoothie situation...mine turned this weird brownish color once because I added blueberries and spinach together. Tasted okay, but definitely not Instagram-worthy, haha. If you're looking to branch out gently, maybe try some creamy soups like butternut squash or tomato basil? They're smooth enough to handle comfortably, and honestly, warm soup felt really comforting when I was anxious about eating again after my extraction. Hang in there—it gets easier!
