Yeah, those “safe food” lists are basically just vibes at this point. I tried mashed potatoes once—thought it was foolproof—and ended up regretting my life choices. It’s wild how one day yogurt is fine, next day it’s like chewing glass. Gotta love the unpredictability...

Totally get you on the mashed potatoes thing. I tried applesauce thinking it was a “safe bet” and it stung like crazy. It’s like your mouth just decides what’s gonna hurt that day… makes meal planning feel like roulette, honestly.

Man, applesauce got me too. I thought it’d be all gentle and soothing, but nope—felt like I was eating battery acid. The worst part is, the day before, yogurt was fine, then suddenly it’s like my mouth hit the “no dairy” button and everything burned. I’ve just started rating foods based on how likely they are to betray me. Honestly, I never thought oatmeal would become my emotional support food, but here we are.
