I finally did it. After months of awkwardly covering my mouth or doing that weird closed-mouth smile thing in photos, I just went for it today and smiled big with my braces fully visible. And you know what? Nothing terrible happened, lol. Actually felt kinda freeing. Wondering if anyone else had a moment like this where you just stopped caring about your braces and felt good about yourself again?

Haha, totally relate to this. Went through the exact same stages: step 1, awkward closed-mouth smile; step 2, weird half-smile with lips barely parted; step 3, finally realizing no one actually cares... and boom, full metal grin on display. Felt oddly liberating tbh.
