Did your kid have trouble flossing at first? Those little floss threaders drove me nuts...wondering if anyone found a simpler alternative or trick to make flossing less of a nightly battle.

RE: how often do you guys actually swap out your retainers?
I've wondered about this too... I mean, mine's pushing 4 years now and still fits fine, but I do notice it gets harder to keep clean over time. Even with regular brushing, there's bound to be some buildup or tiny scratch...
