RE: Noticed my gums acting weird lately
My dentist actually mentioned something similar about alcohol-based mouthwashes. Apparently, they can dry out your gums and make sensitivity worse, especially if you're already prone to irritation. I switched to an alcoh...
RE: WISDOM TEETH OUT - HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO FEEL NORMAL AGAIN?
Haha, this was totally me! I remember cautiously nibbling on a slice of pizza like three weeks later, convinced the crust would somehow undo everything. Took forever to eat normally again...funny how our brains work some...
RE: traveling with dentures - anyone else had awkward moments?
Haha, been there myself! Once had my denture brush slip out of my hands mid-flight - it bounced off the tiny sink and landed right in the trash bin. Had to awkwardly ask the flight attendant for gloves to retrieve it...t...
RE: traveling with dentures - anyone else had awkward moments?
Haha, been there myself - except mine was sushi in Tokyo. Rice seems harmless, right? Nope... sticky rice is sneaky. Found softer pasta dishes or soups way less stressful when traveling. Hang in there, it gets easier!
RE: how thorough are you with dental checkups?

Haha, I totally get the Schrödinger's dentures thing, but honestly, sometimes I think it's less quantum physics and more just our brains playing tricks on us. Like, one time I was staying at my sister's place and woke up...
RE: ever wondered what'd happen if you skipped dental cleanings for a year?
I skipped mine for about a year once... honestly wasn't the end of the world, but definitely noticed more plaque buildup and my gums felt a bit sensitive. Getting back into routine cleanings afterward was a relief though...
RE: struggling to keep up with brushing teeth when feeling down
Haha, Netflix and brush...that's a new one for me. But hey, whatever works, right? I used to have a similar struggle, especially on those days when getting out of bed felt like climbing Everest. My trick was keeping a to...
RE: Is tightening too often doing more harm than good?
Totally relate to that braces story. Had a similar thing happen - my ortho was super eager, kept tightening mine every few weeks thinking it'd speed things along. Ended up with sore teeth and zero progress for months. Ev...
