That “is it worth it?” question hit home for me. I remember sitting in my car after an adjustment, jaw throbbing, wondering if I’d just paid a ton of money to torture myself. The silicone wax is such a lifesaver though—regular wax always melted off with my coffee. I totally agree about the brushes too... I bought a pack online and half of them just folded over like wet spaghetti. But watching my teeth line up, even a little, makes those weird meals and sore days feel less pointless.
