That “zing” is no joke—I remember after my own implants, biting into anything cold felt like a little electric shock. It’s wild how your mouth just needs time to figure out the new normal. My dentist kept saying, “You’ll adjust,” but honestly it took a few months before I stopped subconsciously clenching. I wish they’d talk more about the weird side effects, not just the big picture stuff.
Yeah, that “zing” threw me too. I kept thinking something was wrong at first, but my dentist said it’s just nerves waking up or whatever. Did you ever get those weird phantom itches under the implants? That drove me nuts for a while.
