RE: Could changing sedation standards affect escort and recovery plans?
Individual advice matters, but “it varies” shouldn’t leave people guessing. A sensible approach would be a clear minimum precautionary window, then longer restrictions if the dose, medication mix, or health conditions ca...
RE: Swollen gums and braces: is this normal or just me?
Yeah, I feel you on this. I kept hearing “it’s normal” too, but my gums were puffy for weeks and honestly, it freaked me out a bit. That’s what did it for me. Switched to a water flosser and started using mouthwash more...
RE: What surprised me after getting full arch implants
Man, I swear the tongue thing is wild. First week I kept biting it like it owed me money. Felt like my mouth just forgot how to work for a bit. Glad I’m not the only one who had to relearn basic chewing.

Yeah, I get what you mean about the glued-in retainer being a pain. Flossing around that thing is basically a mini workout for your patience. I’ve got the same setup - bottom wire, top clear tray. I’m always paranoid som...
RE: Would you freak out if your stitches took longer to dissolve?
Yeah, I get you - stuff not going by the book stresses me out too, especially with teeth. Had wisdom teeth pulled last year and those stitches just wouldn’t budge. Literally me poking at them with my tongue every hour. ...
RE: Making brushing fun for little ones - what actually works?
Water flossers are chaos, not gonna lie. We tried one after a friend swore by it and yeah… the bathroom was basically a mini swimming pool. My kid thought it was hilarious though, so maybe that’s something? Honestly, we ...
