After months of rubber bands snapping in my mouth (ugh), my orthodontist finally said my bite's looking great. Honestly didn't think they'd work this well...anyone else have a similar experience or am I just lucky?

I remember when I had elastics years ago, and honestly, at first I was pretty skeptical they'd do much. My bite was pretty off-center, and the bands drove me nuts—especially when they'd snap while I was talking (embarrassing...). But after about four months, things really started shifting, and my orthodontist seemed genuinely impressed. So yeah, you're not alone in being surprised they worked. It's definitely a patience game though, glad it paid off for you too.
