Was scrolling through news earlier and came across this article talking about fluoride treatments at the dentist. Apparently, some new research is suggesting that fluoride isn't as effective at preventing cavities as we always assumed. I mean, I've had fluoride treatments since I was a kid, those weird little foam trays that taste kinda like bubblegum mixed with sadness, lol. But now they're saying it might not make a huge difference after all?

Honestly, I'm a bit skeptical. Dentists have been pushing fluoride forever, and it seems like my teeth have been fine...though who knows if that's just good genes or luck. But it does make me wonder if it's worth the extra cost or the hassle, especially for kids who hate the stuff anyway.

Curious if anyone else saw this or has thoughts about it. Is fluoride overrated, or are these researchers just stirring up trouble?

Ugh, I just booked my first fluoride treatment for next week...now you're making me second guess it, lol. But honestly, even if it's not a miracle cure, maybe it's still better than nothing? Fingers crossed anyway.
