Yeah, the haze and scratches are like the “bonus features” nobody asked for. I keep squinting at mine in the mirror, wondering if everyone else can see them or if I’m just being picky. The plasticky aftertaste is wild too—sometimes I swear it’s worse after I clean them, which feels like the universe’s idea of a joke. I tried soaking mine in those little cleaning tablets and it helped a bit, but not totally. At this point, I just tell myself it’s all part of the “budget-friendly smile journey.” At least I keep reminding myself what I’m saving compared to the fancier options, right? Hang in there—if nothing else, we’ll have some interesting stories to tell once this whole saga is over.

I keep wondering if the scratches are really that noticeable or if it’s just me obsessing. My partner swears he can’t see anything, but I catch myself holding my mouth weird in photos now. The plasticky taste is the worst part for me—sometimes I think it gets stronger after using those tablets, which just feels backwards? I’m starting to question if the “budget” part is worth all this weirdness, honestly. Maybe I just need more time to get used to it...
