I totally get the hesitation about implants. My mom had regular dentures for years and honestly, she managed pretty well once she got the hang of adhesives and adjustments. But eventually, she went for implants because chewing tougher foods was becoming a real hassle. She says it's night and day now—way more stable. Still, regular dentures weren't terrible either, just took some patience and tweaking to get right...

My dad's been rocking regular dentures for a couple years now, and honestly, he's pretty chill about it. Took him a while to nail the adhesive routine (and yeah, there were some funny mishaps at first...), but now he's eating most things comfortably. Implants sound awesome, but budget-wise, dentures do the trick just fine.

Glad your dad's got the hang of it now—those adhesive mishaps can be pretty hilarious (I've heard some good stories from patients, trust me...). Implant-supported dentures are great for stability, but honestly, regular dentures can work just fine once you find your groove. Sounds like he's doing awesome.
