I get where you’re coming from—honestly, I’ve seen plenty of people with “boring” dental histories who feel like those six-month visits are just routine boxes to tick. But then there are cases that stick with me: I had a patient who’d never had a cavity, skipped a couple years because everything seemed fine, and when she came back, she had a sneaky gum issue that only showed up on x-rays. Made me wonder—how much is peace of mind worth? But yeah, I do think risk level should play a bigger role. Has anyone here actually switched to yearly checkups and noticed a difference?
