Baking soda's pretty solid for tougher stains, especially coffee or tea—I use it to clean my scrubs sometimes. Just don't go overboard, or you'll end up with gritty residue... learned that lesson quick. Ever combined the two? Vinegar and baking soda together can be surprisingly effective.

Haha, been there! Thought I'd discovered the ultimate cleaning hack until my clothes felt like sandpaper. Vinegar and baking soda combo is legit, though—saved a favorite shirt from coffee doom once. You're onto something good here.

Haha, glad I'm not the only one who learned the gritty lesson the hard way. I once got a little too enthusiastic with baking soda trying to whiten my teeth at home—figured if it worked wonders on stains, why not teeth, right? Well, let's just say gritty residue isn't exactly pleasant in your mouth either. Took me days to get rid of that weird sandy feeling.

Interesting you mention vinegar and baking soda for clothes. I've used that combo around the house plenty, but never thought to try it on fabric stains. Might have to give it a shot next time I spill tea on my scrubs (which happens more often than I'd like to admit...). Thanks for the tip!

I've tried vinegar and baking soda on clothes before, and it does work surprisingly well. Just a heads-up though—make sure you rinse thoroughly afterward. I once didn't rinse enough, and the fabric felt a bit stiff and smelled faintly vinegary for a day or two. Not terrible, but not exactly pleasant either. Still beats dealing with stubborn tea stains, especially those sneaky ones that dry before you even realize they're there...

Haha, been there with the vinegar smell lingering around... not exactly the fresh laundry scent I was aiming for. Ever tried hydrogen peroxide for whitening? Heard it's gentler than bleach, but haven't dared test it myself yet.
