Threading floss under a bridge really is a pain—totally get where you’re coming from. I’ve tried the water flosser too, and honestly, some days it feels like it just sprays water everywhere except where I want it. My hygienist once suggested those super-thin proxy brushes, but they still bend half the time. I think we’re all just doing our best and hoping it’s enough. If your dentist hasn’t complained, you’re probably doing better than you think. Don’t beat yourself up—those spots are tricky for everyone.

Getting floss under bridges is awkward, no doubt. I’ve seen patients get frustrated with threaders and water flossers too—honestly, I use a combo of both at home. Some days it’s messy, but it beats skipping altogether. Persistence really does matter more than perfection here.
