I used to wake up with headaches and jaw pain, like almost every morning. Dentist said I was grinding my teeth at night. Got one of those custom mouth guards made, and honestly, it's been a lifesaver. Took a few nights to get used to it (felt weird at first), but now I barely notice it and no more morning soreness. Curious if anyone else has had similar experiences or found other good solutions?

Had pretty much the same experience. My dentist recommended a custom guard after I cracked a tooth from grinding—yeah, that was fun. Took me about a week before I stopped noticing it, but now it's second nature. One thing I did notice though, stress management helped a ton too. Have you tried anything like meditation or relaxation techniques alongside the mouth guard? Curious if anyone else found that helpful...

Meditation actually made a big difference for me, too. At first, I thought it sounded kinda hokey, but figured I'd give it a shot after my dentist suggested stress might be part of the problem. I started small—just 5 minutes before bed using one of those guided apps—and gradually worked up from there. Now it's part of my nightly routine, along with the mouth guard. Definitely noticed less jaw tension after a few weeks... worth trying if you're open to it.
