"Mine usually lasts around two years, but yeah, stress levels and grinding intensity definitely play a role."

Two years sounds about right, but mine barely makes it past one lately... maybe I'm just extra stressed? 🤔 Has anyone tried a different material or brand that's held up better?

Two years seems pretty good actuallyβ€”mine barely lasted six months the first time around! Stress definitely makes a difference, so you're not alone there. Maybe ask your dentist about thicker materials...that helped me a lot. Hang in there, it gets easier πŸ™‚

Two years sounds impressive to me too. Mine usually last about a year, but honestly it depends on how stressful things get. I remember one particularly rough semester at school where I chewed right through it in just a few months...not my proudest moment, haha. Have you noticed if certain cleaning products or routines help yours last longer? I'm still trying to figure out if that makes any difference for durability.

Haha, been there. I usually get about a year out of mine too, but honestly I'm always anxious about damaging it. I've found gentle brushing with mild soap helps a bit, but stress still wins eventually...

I relate to this so much...I usually manage to squeeze about a year out of mine too, but I'm always worried about wearing it down prematurely. I tried the gentle soap brushing thing as well, but honestly, I think my anxious jaw clenching is the real culprit. 😅 Mouthguards aren't exactly cheap either, so every time I notice new marks or thinning spots, my wallet cries a little inside.
