"Apparently, she'd wrapped it in a napkin after practice and just stuck it in there without thinking."

Haha, glad we're not the only ones! My son once tossed his mouthguard into the laundry basket wrapped in a towel. Didn't find it until after the wash cycle...not exactly minty fresh. Now I'm paranoid and triple-check everything before starting laundry. Bright tape sounds like a good idea—I might try that too.

Haha, I can definitely relate to these stories. Mouthguards seem to have a knack for ending up in the strangest places. My daughter once tucked hers into a jacket pocket after soccer practice, and we spent half an afternoon turning the house upside down before she remembered. Bright tape sounds like a practical solution—anything that makes them easier to spot has my full support. Glad to hear I'm not alone in the mouthguard mystery club...

Haha, glad I'm not the only one who's spent ages hunting for these things. Bright tape sounds smart, but does anyone have tips for keeping them clean on the go? I'm always paranoid about germs when mine ends up somewhere random...

I used to stress about germs too, especially after mine fell onto a bus seat once (yikes...). Now I just carry a mini spray bottle filled with diluted mouthwash—quick spritz, rinse with water, and good to go. Saved me more than once.

Haha, the bus seat scenario made me cringe a bit... but honestly, your mouthwash trick sounds genius. I used to panic whenever mine touched anything questionable, but now I just remind myself that a quick clean is usually enough. Germs are everywhere anyway, right? Good on you for finding a practical solution—definitely beats stressing over every little drop.
