Haha, the fridge story made me laugh...I've definitely had my share of weird mouthguard adventures too. Once found mine tucked neatly inside a sock drawer—still no clue how it got there.

"I wonder if having a dedicated 'home' for the case might help prevent these escape attempts..."

Honestly, I've tried that, and it mostly works. But every now and then, it still manages to wander off mysteriously. Maybe they're just adventurous by nature? Glad I'm not alone in this!

Haha, the sock drawer—classic! I've heard so many mouthguard stories over the years, and honestly, they never get old. One patient of mine swore theirs vanished completely, only to find it months later wedged between couch cushions during a deep clean. They'd already replaced it by then, of course.

Having a dedicated spot definitely helps most people, but you're right—some mouthguards just seem born wanderers. I sometimes joke with patients that mouthguards have a secret nightlife we don't know about. Seriously though, I've noticed that creating a nightly routine around placing it back in its case can help build muscle memory and reduce those mysterious disappearances. Still, every now and then, they manage to go rogue...maybe it's their way of keeping things interesting? Glad we're all in this together, at least.

Mine vanished the very first week I got it—talk about anxious! Turned up days later behind my nightstand...still no idea how it traveled there. Glad it's not just me dealing with sneaky mouthguards.

Haha, mouthguards definitely have minds of their own. Mine once disappeared for days—I was convinced I'd accidentally tossed it out. Turned out my cat had adopted it as her new favorite toy and stashed it under the couch. Honestly, I think they're designed to vanish at least once just to keep us on our toes...glad yours resurfaced safe and sound!

Haha, pets really do have a knack for claiming the weirdest things as toys...glad your mouthguard survived the feline kidnapping. Mine hasn't vanished yet, but now I'm paranoid—any tips on pet-proofing dental gear?
