Thinking about getting a mouthguard - anyone had good results?
Fit matters as much as whether it’s custom. I’d ask the dentist to check it at a follow-up, especially if the jaw discomfort doesn’t improve. An ill-fitting or overly thick guard can increase soreness or affect your bite, so it shouldn’t just be a “wear it and forget it” purchase.
