Do dental picks really make a difference or is floss enough?

I've been wondering lately... say you had to choose between using those little dental pick things or just regular floss forever, which would you pick? I mean, are those picks actually doing something special or is it just marketing hype? I tried them a few times and honestly, they feel kinda flimsy, but maybe I'm missing something. Curious what others think about this.

I'm with you on the flimsy feelingβ€”those little picks always felt kinda awkward to me too. But honestly, they're pretty handy if you're traveling or just need a quick clean after lunch. Still, for daily thoroughness, I stick with regular floss...it just feels more effective somehow.

Totally get what you're saying about the picks feeling flimsy...I was skeptical at first too. But honestly, after my dentist recommended them, I gave them a shot and they've saved me more than once when I'm out and about. Like last week, I had spinach stuck in my teeth before a meetingβ€”those little picks were a lifesaver. Still, at home, floss just feels like it does a better job getting into those tight spots. Guess it's good to have both handy, depending on the situation.
